About 

Dianna is a seasoned leader with over 10 years’ experience in product and service design for social impact. She has extensive field work experience in Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, Latin America, and the United States.

For the past seven years, Dianna has led the design practice at award-winning non-profit, Medic Mobile. She has served on the organization’s strategy team through a period of rapid growth, from a team of 10 to 100, and a user base of 25,000+ community health workers.

Cultivated by her background in sociology and anthropology and years of direct field work, Dianna is an effective and adaptable design practitioner with skills in user research, synthesis, and facilitation. As a team lead, she continues to maintain a high level of commitment to user-driven insights and quality deliverables.

Dianna is a respected pioneer and thought leader in the field, having contributed unique methods, case studies, and papers to the development of design as a practice within the social impact and global health communities. She has taught, led workshops, coached and mentored many teams on operationalizing HCD and building an organizational culture supportive of a design-driven approach.
