About Dianna
Personal growth and a deep inquiry into the human condition have been a common thread throughout my life, first as a Sociology & Urban Studies major in the Bronx, NY, and then as a Masters student in Cape Town, South Africa. For over 15 years, I worked in health systems and human-centered design for social innovation in many corners of the world. I continue to coach and consult with NGOs, foundations and academic centers. To learn more about this other professional passion, see The Curious Company or visit my LinkedIn profile.
4-year old Dianna, my teacher in play
The decision to build a coaching practice arose out of my own healing journey. As an outcomes-oriented “producer” type, I long kept my soft and silly side hidden. Working with the Hakomi method has helped me unlock a wellspring of creativity, inspiration, playfulness and bravery. Now, when I get too serious, anxious or afraid, I can recognize and tend to the parts of me that need it and come back into connection with my heart and true essence. This is a gift I wish to share with the world!
I live in San Rafael with my partner and I love to walk in the forests and foothills of Marin. I’m a self-taught watercolor artist, love to dance and move my body and am passionate about minimizing plastic use and living lightly on the Earth. When the pandemic allows, I also volunteer as a birth doula at San Francisco General Hospital.
